Technique Solaire is a French independent solar power producer founded in 2008, leading the PV rooftop market in France, India, the Netherlands, and Spain. We are experts in developing, financing, building, and operating solar projects. With over 230 employees and an annual turnover of 260 million euros, we own and operate 520+ MWp of assets and have more than 400 MWp in construction, with 2,7 GWp in development.
Our Indian subsidiary manages operational solar assets of 210MWp and has an ambitious growth plan with several new projects in the pipeline and target to reach 1GW by 2030. As we aim to expand our operations in India rapidly, we need a dedicated Asset Manager to support the management of our portfolio.
Job Description:
The position is located in Delhi NCR, with frequent visits to the plants. You report directly to the Indian Country Director and you will work in coordination with our French Asset Management team.
You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of asset management, including technical, commercial, and financial performance, to maximize value and ensure long-term profitability.
What you will do:
- Supervision of SPVs:
- contractual obligations
- technical requirements
- regarding commercial environment & legal regulations
- ensuring a high level of compliance with all HSE requirements.
- Communication with key stakeholders: O&M, regional and local government, landowners, regional and local authorities, lenders, investors, regulatory bodies, transmission utilities, electricity off-takers, etc.
- Monitor the O&M activity of our Indian PV plant portfolio:
- When our plants are operated and maintained by third parties’ providers, you will be in charge of:
- Controlling SPVs performance
- Reviewing monthly maintenance reports and ensuring an appropriate response from the O&M providers.
- Especially ensuring that contractual clauses are well applied (availability level, potential penalties to be billed…),
- Managing commercial relationship
2. When our plants are operated by our in-house O&M team, you will be in charge of:
- Defining performance objectives according to market practices and in line with our bank commitments
- Controlling SPVs performance
- Manage relationships with our in-house O&M team
- Monitor other third parties’ services providers - insurance, market agent, control center to ensure the timely fulfilment of obligations and compliance with the contractual terms.
- Asset condition monitoring, follow-up of critical KPIs. Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Support and assist the finance team with bank reports. Identify opportunities for improvement.
- Perform site visits (frequent travels to Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand…) and inspections to ensure the maintenance service quality and the asset condition.
- Identify and manage risks that could impact the performance or value of the assets, mitigation of operational, financial and technical risks.
- Track revenue from energy sales: verify meter data and rate tariffs are correct, and that payments are received and properly accounted for.
- Monitor the proper execution of the Power Purchase Agreements (PPA).
- Follow-up of the budget and P&L account for every asset.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and updates to project financial models.
- Monthly verification of each of the plants’ invoices. Follow-up on payments to suppliers.
- Assist during commissioning and PAC process.
In addition to asset management of photovoltaic power plants in India (>300 MWp), the candidate will also be able to work on cross-functional projects which may involve power plants in another geographical area, but which will fall within the scope of the Group's asset management missions.

Desired knowledge and experience
Degree in Engineering or similar ;
5+ years of experience in the Indian renewables market: asset management/O&M ;
Good, demonstrable understanding of the requirements related to Indian PV projects ;
Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and organizational skills ;
High Level of Proficiency with MS Office suite of products (Excel in particular), SCADA ;
You speak fluently English and Hindi. Fluency in French would be a plus ;
Excellent communication skills ;
You are deeply involved, proactive, organized and able to work independently ;
Valid driver’s licence.
